Requests for house calls, which are usually performed in the middle of the day by the doctors, are best made before 11am. Sick babies, children and urgent problems will be seen as a priority during the day on which you ring. Our staff understand this, so that if you explain the problem, they will fit you in. Phone calls about you or your family's health are accepted. The receptionist may be able to help you - if not the doctors may need to return your call. Repeat prescription requests can be left with the receptionist. A $5 fee is charged and the prescription will normally be available 3 working days after the request if the doctors feel this is medically appropriate. Referrals to specialists requests can also accepted over the phone if medically appropriate. These referrals are letters written by the doctors to the specialist and you will usually be asked to see the doctor for such a referral if you have not seen that specialist previously. Ongoing referrals can be arranged. A $10 fee is charged for referrals which normally take 3 working days. Patients are requested to make a follow up appointment to obtain test results. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the care you receive from this practice we are keen to know about it.
